The demographic effects of migration and its implications for the national security of the Libyan state.

Abstract

This Research Aims To Identify Migration In General And Illegal Migration In Particular, And Its Impact On The Population Mass In Libya, In Terms Of Size And Demographic Composition, In Being An Abnormal Component Of Population Growth.It Is Known That The Phenomenon Of Illegal Migration Is A Worrying Demographic Phenomenon For North African Countries In General And The Libyan State In Particular, Because Libya Constitutes A Center Of Attraction For Migrants From Neighboring Countries, In Light Of The Availability Of Livelihoods And Job Opportunities On The One Hand, And The Deterioration Of Security Conditions And Lack Of Border Control On The Other. From Here Came The Research Problem, Which Is Formulated In The Following Question:

The Researcher Assumes That One Of The Most Important Demographic Effects On The Population Is The Occurrence Of Changes In The Size And Composition Of The Population, Which Can Have Negative Effects On The National Security Of The Libyan State, For Example, But Not Limited To Changes In The Age, Qualitative And Ethnic Composition Of The Population In The Medium And Long Term.

To Reach The Research Goal And Verify The Hypothesis, The Researcher Will Rely On The Descriptive And Historical Approach, Describing The Phenomenon Of Migration To Find Out Its Causes And The Demographic Effects Resulting From It, And Tim Will Trace The History Of The Phenomenon By Analyzing The Available Data About It.
